The New Year

As we begin the new year, I'm reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians chapter 1. He reminds us that ALL of God's good promises are YES antd AMEN! As I read God's word I'm amazed at how His promises seem to jump off the pages.

Today I am sitting in a coffee shop. In September of 2007 I was sitting in this same coffee shop when God gave me my John 11:4 promise that this sickness will not end in death but God would use my healing to bring glory to His Name. This is a promise I will hold on to for many years even after my healing because He will continue to recieve glory for the rest of my life.

I am very anxious for this miracle to take place in my life; however, I am amazed at the glory He is recieving in the waiting. For example, my family has been blessed to be surrounded by an awesome family of faith at Mt. Rock. On Sunday we had an amazing time of worship. I can't wait to see what God does through this family of faith. As worship and intercession escalate, signs, wonders and miracles are sure to follow, because the focus is on Him and not us.

So, as we read God's word this year, may we read it with expectaions in our hearts. As we seek Him in prayer, may we look to increase our intimacy with Him. Together let us dream big this year. Remember if you can accomplish your dream on your own, it's not big enough. :)

Lynn and Amy,
I continue to lift you all up in prayer and also the team.
Happy Birthday Amy!
Lynn, I love reading your messages, you have such a wonderful way of relating the message. Your heart is pure. Have you thought of putting your expierences in book form. I love following the lives of the people whose lives you have touched and your team. You make it seem as if I am there. I don't express myself very well but would make wonderful reading and teaching as well to those that are not aware. I so looked forward to your e-mail each week, It was regular, and to hear how all were doing and responding to the learning of JESUS. I pray for you and your family and your Missonary family. I pray for God to lay his presure healing hands on you.
Thank you, Lynn.

Warmest regards,
Rosemary
