Reflection

As I reflect on the past year, I praise the Lord for His faithfulness and His presence. I have experienced a newness of His presence this year. And for that I am so grateful. It is very obvious that what the enemy meant for my destruction, God is using to do exceedingly more than all we could ask for or imagine. During this season I have experienced some of the greatest challenges and greatest blessings in my life. Two weeks ago, the Lord impressed on my heart that He is redigging the wells and digging new wells. I know this is happening in my life and in the lives of those who are walking closely with us. And to those people who are walking with us, I say thank you. You are helping to fill the bowls of heaven with prayers on my behalf.

It seems as if the Lord is taking us all deeper in Him. He is burning the chaff of unbelief and replacing it with the truth of God's Word. He is replacing the yeast of the Pharisees with the Promise of His Word, reminding us that His promises are "Yes" and "Amen". He is convicting us of unbelief based on what we have or have not experienced rather than believing His Word for what it says.

Well, today is my birthday and I want to take this opportunity to bless you. I bless you in Jesus' Name, with a new passion and desire for intimacy with Him. I bless you in Jesus' Name with dreams that are bigger than what you can accomplish on your own. I bless you in Jesus' Name with a daily sense of His presence and power at work in your life. I bless you in Jesus' Name with an intimate, personal, powerful relationship with the Holy Spirit. I bless you with such a thirst for Him that you can never get enough and always desire to be in His presence. I bless you and pray that the supernatural will become common in your life. Remember that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Be faithful. Stand firm. And see the glory of the Lord. Amen.

God bless you and have a wonderful New Year!

The confidence we have

This is the confidence we have...

"Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights." Hab 3:17-19

Merry Christmas

A Pastor friend recently told me the meaning of Merry Christmas. Merry means "mighty". Mas at the end of Christmas in Latin means "encounter". So, when we wish someone a Merry Christmas we are saying, "May you have a mighty encounter with Christ". I don't know about you, but this is exactly what I want. So I wish you the same. May each one of you have a MIGHTY encounter with Christ this Christmas Season.

Forget the Happy Holiday greeting and wish people a Merry Christmas.

Signs of Healing!

We praise the Lord for each and every sign of physical healing. Here are just a few that we have begun to see, so you can PRAISE with us!

Dec. 13th: the achiness in Lynn's shoulders while sleeping at night has gone (he had eliminated pain medicine)

Dec. 14th: the sting in Lynn's eyes from tears was not there at all (he had an awesome time of worship at church)

Dec. 14th: several had mentioned that they saw increased strength in Lynn's face and legs.

Dec. 15th: Lynn has been able to open his mouth wider when eating as well as eating foods that require some chewing (with caution)

Dec. 15th: Lynn has been walking a bit faster at times

Dec. 16th: Lynn said he believes and feels like he is able to breathe better

We praise the Lord for his faithfulness and for all that he is doing . Hope this helps you better know how to pray and Praise the Lord with us!

Friday night

Thank you so much for your faithful committment to pray with us. We began praying at 7 and continued until 2 in the morning. We did not see everything in the physical realm the way we had hoped. However, we do know that at 2 in the morning (7 hours later) there was a breakthrough. We believe that whatever needed to happen in the spiritual realm took place.

Here are some things that we are learning thru this.

By faith, healing is complete. The lesson God seems to be speaking to us is that we need to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. In this case healing is a continual process and we will see clear physical signs moment by moment, day by day. As we build up our spirit man with the truth, our physical man (mind and feelings) will catch up.

Gaining Weight

Praise the Lord, I have gained 5 pounds in the last month. I am sure the high calorie frozen Corner Coffee has helped. Believe it or not, the large frozen Corner Coffee has 1400 calories! Yummy :)

Call to prayer

The Lord has orchestrated a critical time of prayer for this Friday evening, Dec. 12th. It has been confirmed through several intercessors that we are to pray thru until we see a breakthrough in Lynn's health. We will begin praying at 7:00 pm and not stop until we feel the Lord release us. We are inviting you to join us from where you are. Please be sensitive to the Holy Spirit as to what part he wants you to play.

Our focus is for complete healing for Lynn. Here are some passages of scripture for you to meditate on:
Isaiah 35
Exodus 3:6-7
Psalm 103

We believe that Lynn has already been healed, in Jesus' Name. Therefore, this battle will be against the forces of darkness to see complete healing manifest in Lynn's body. We covet your partnership in prayer.

Again, thanks again for your prayers of faith and words of encouragement during this journey. God will be glorified!

God bless you,
Lynn and Amy

Ways to bless us.

Many have been asking us how they can help. Here are a few pratical ways.

1. Gas Gift Cards
2. Walmart Gift Cards
3. As always your prayers of faith

PRAISE THE LORD

Thanks for your prayers. Since my appointment, I have gained 3 lbs. I also have been able to drink water easier than before.

Last weekend, we attended 3 prayer meetings, Friday night at Mt. Rock, Saturday at Christ Community and Monday evening at Global Awakening. We praise God for the opportunity to be surrounded by an atmosphere of faith. On Saturday evening, I was blessed to have people speak words of truth into my life. What a powerful night, even though we arrived in time for the benediction. The service began at 6:00 but we arrived 7:15, just in time for a powerful time of prayer.

Thanks for praying for us on Wednesday. We met with a team of 9 people at Hershey Medical Center, who reviewed Lynn's status and provided us with information about what is available to us if we feel the need. Their biggest concern is that Lynn would begin to gain his weight back. They would like to see him gain 5 pounds this next month. We have been blessed to have a team of very competent people providing us with care.

Wednesday afternoon we stopped by Global Awakening and received prayer from a group of about 20 students. This was definitely a highlight of our day. It was great to be surrounded by men and women of Faith. During this time it was re-confirmed that God has given us Psalm 91 to claim as our own promise. Please feel free to use this Psalm during your own personal prayer time for us.

Prayer Points:
1. Pray for Lynn to put on 5 pounds this month.
2. Pray Psalm 91 over us.

Transition

First of all thank you so much for your faithful prayers for our family. We safely arrived home to PA on Tuesday, Nov. 4th after a great weekend with some friends in Thailand. It is amazing how God had gone before us and carefully planned each step of the journey where we find ourselves at now.

We are currently staying with Lynn's parents in Orrstown. The two older children have started school and Anna is in Daycare at our church, Mt. Rock, three days a week. This allows Lynn and I to set aside time for rest and renewal as we soak ourselves in God's presence.

I want to update you on a few things. First, because we are deliberately trying to rest and renew ourselves until healing comes, we are asking that most of the "visiting" (outside of family and close friends) be done on Friday evenings at Mt. Rock. This has been a time set aside for focused prayer for Lynn's healing as well as our friends in Thailand. This is open to anyone. We meet in the Prayer room upstairs near the sanctuary at 7:00 pm. We welcome all of you to join us as you feel led.

Secondly, on Wednesday the 19th, Lynn has an appointment scheduled at Hershey Medical Center. This is a review check-up since being back in the States. The appontment is from 8-12 in the morning. Following this, we have the opportunity to visit Silk, our Thai friend, at her school in Mechanicsburg. She has invited us to come and receive prayer from her and her classmates. We are looking forward to this time and feel expectant in our spirit. Please join us in prayer for God to do immeasurably more than all we could ask for or imagine. I know you have been pressing in with us already, but we feel God wants to do something special on this day.

God bless you as you partner along side us with prayers of faith. We serve a Great God, Amen!
Lynn and Amy
